Altitude Constraints?

Hi,

I have noticed that when you have an altitude constraint let's say on a STAR, and it's +9200, in VNAV mode the plane descends to cross at 9200 instead of calculating the idle thrust descent.

Where I noticed this was when the TOD arrow approached, I initiated "DES" and instead of flying above 9200 feet on the respective point, it flew to 9200 feet and flew for about 50 miles to the next constraint of +7200 feet with almost 80%N1.

Is this a bug?

Because most aircraft will calculate a constant degree descent, especially on a STAR that has 50 mile legs on it with only a few thousand feet apart.
