wheel chock 0 Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 I am running multiple computers off a main FS Server and want to upgrade the FS Server to something that will allow me to run: FSX 777 add-on, Contrails, Cloud upgrade, Airport upgrades Airport traffic, Runway details (optional) Max terrain detail (optional) FSUIPC Flight Deck Solutions Overhead, MCP, NAV, COMM, AUDIO, EFIS, PANEL I do not want to run water cooling. Any suggestions for someone who is good at building hardware but not-so-swift on computers?? Off the shelf would be nice. A few suggested changes will be considered. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted October 30, 2012 Aerosoft Share Posted October 30, 2012 The only thing really important is that you get a 64 bit OS and at least 8 GB of men for what you want. Apart from that any high end CPU, mid range GPU PC will run FSX fine these days. I prefer a low end I7 and overclock it to the specs of a high end i7, that's pretty easy these days.
