Hi all,

Quite simply: Is the above worth the amount of money and what are FPS like with it?

Thanks in advance guys. I am looking for somewhere different and stunning to fly GA and this seems the best at the mo.

I am not running a mega system so FPS is a must.

Dell E520

FSX with SP1 + SP2.

8600GT

2.6ghz.

Dual Core

2gb RAM

My system is sort of similar - runs Switzerland Pro X fine - provided you don't go too fast, of course ... but the scenery is made for low and slow, with all the detail ... :)

You should be fine if you don't fly too high and fast or even slew!

I do VFR over Swiss Pro X in a chopper (waiting for Aerosoft Gliders ^^) and frames are ok, my current system is similar to yours! :)

Great scenery, btw ... really a show-off as far as FSX textures are concerned ...

If I may answer, its really worth the price.

And considering FPS, as the scenery is mostly mountainous,

decreasing autogen could increase the frames very much without

making the scenery less attractive, compared to flat-area-sceneries,

where autogen is more important

Agreed, I think it's worth the price. The mesh is incredibly detailled, the texture res too, you got autogen that fits the textures (!) and it covers ALL of Switzerland!

Think of it as Swiss Pro VFR 1-4 in one box ... :)

Months if not years to explore, explore, explore ...
