Robert S 75
I found this post very interesting from Phil Taylor, lead designer of the latest Flight Simulators...http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/default.aspx Rendering Engine Updates for TS2, or the dirt I can spill after the National Train Show demoNow I know that Mathijs likes the train simulation series, so this should be great news for him...but keen readers will note two important references for FS11!There is also good technical information about bus bandwidth and SLI configs.Happy reading...Hint: release date and animated __________(fill in the blank)
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted July 24, 2008 Aerosoft Share Posted July 24, 2008 Good info indeed, but keep in mind that we all know that when the CPU('s) are working at full blast the bandwidth of the GPU bus seems not to be the limiting factor. ManuelL 71
There is a video, in which you can see a bit of the planned character animation in train sim. Would be nice to have something like that for the FS pilots and ground crew. However, I still hope they will not only improve the visuals in FS11, but also the physical model.
