Kekelekou 0
Hello, I am flightsimosaurus still flying with FSX, and I have just bought the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo for my PMDG 737 and 777. It seems that the "activate PMDG" option should be enabled when using PMDG addons, but I can not select FSX, the only choices available are P3D v4 or V5. So I would lile to know I really have to enable this option or if the Alpha and Bravo can not be used for PMDG on FSX (I do hope not). Thanks for your help! Aerosoft SimWare 742 Posted September 6, 2023 Aerosoft Share Posted September 6, 2023 Hi, What exact link did you download the driver from ? Thank you.
Kekelekou 0
Hello! I have not downloaded or installed the drivers per se, since I couldn't find them. What I did do what to go to Honeycomb website, tried the link given on their "Downloads" page for the FSX configurator (https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/5998-fsx-honeycomb-software/&do=download&csrfKey=0aa399cd44922c23f1388f785fb8573e) But the link is broken ("Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again."), so I searched around in the library, and finally found the following link The downloaded zip file is named "AS_HONEYCOMB_FSX-FSXSE-V2.zip" The "About" page in the Configurator reads "Honeycomb Configuration, version: 2.1.0" Could you please confirm if I got mistaken somewhere along the way? Thank you!
Aerosoft SimWare 742 Posted September 8, 2023 Aerosoft Share Posted September 8, 2023 Hi, This is the correct one indeed. And yes, only P3D needs the PMDG enabling option. FSX doesn't, so you are good to go. Best regards.

But now I have to understand why when the 777/NGX profiles are activated, I only get the AutoBrake rotary switch to work while all autopilot or lights switchs don't. Aerosoft SimWare 742 Posted September 8, 2023 Aerosoft Share Posted September 8, 2023 Hi, Can you please let me know what exact profile (link) and what plane (screenshot of the P3D aircraft window) you use ? Thank you.
Kekelekou 0
Hello! I downloaded the following profiles : https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/5980-pmdg-ngxu/ https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/5991-pmdg-777/ https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/5994-pmdg-777/ https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/5993-pmdg-ngxu/ The PMDG product versions are the ones given on the enclosed picture. And by the way, the autobrake rotary on the 777 was working only because I had added the events through LINDA. Please login to display this image. Aerosoft SimWare 742 Posted September 9, 2023 Aerosoft Share Posted September 9, 2023 Hi, After loading and activating the profile in the Configurator, do you see a message in the simulator when the plane is loaded? Thank you.
Kekelekou 0
What I usually do is : Load the plane in FSX, load and activate the profil in the configurator, then reload all bindings. I have just tested it your way. I am getting the green line "AFCBridge|AFC : Reloaded 35 bindings successfully from GLOBAL profile "PMDG_NGX(u)_Yoke". But still no working switchs. Aerosoft Solution SimWare 742 Posted September 18, 2023 Aerosoft Solution Share Posted September 18, 2023 Hi, I confirm those profiles are for P3D, not FSX. There were no FSX profile written by us as this simulator is quite old. You will need to write your own ones (or use a ready-made one from someone in the community. Best regards.
