How to control the PMDG B737 cutoff levers under MSFS with Axis&Ohs

This tutorial will assign two rocker switches to the fuel cutoffs levers of the PMDG B737.

These are not assignable via the standard MSFS button binding window.
We need to address the events specific to the PMDG B737.

Each lever (ENG 1 & ENG 2) has its own event.
Engine #1 : 70320
Engine #2 : 70321

Each event must be set as follows :
Lever in CUTOFF position : 1
Lever in IDLE position : 0

We will create four scripts. Two per lever.
One script for CUTOFF

One scripts for IDLE

Each set of CUTOFF/IDLE script will be assigned to the Key Down and Key Up event of a rocker switch.
In this example, we use a MultiSwitch Panel from VRinsight, but any ON/OFF switch will do.

NOTE We will not cover the use of Axis And Ohs here.
There is a introduction tutorial available :

(Altough this uses the Aerosoft CRJ in the example, the basics are the same for any addon)

STEP 1 :
1 – B737-CUTOFF-ENG1-CUTOFF : set #70320 to 1
2 – B737-CUTOFF-ENG1-IDLE : set #70320 to 0
3 – B737-CUTOFF-ENG2-CUTOFF : set #70321 to 1
4 – B737-CUTOFF-ENG2-IDLE : set #70321 to 0

STEP 2 :

Assign each set of CUTOFF/IDLE script to a rocker switch of the MultiSwitch Panel :

1 – IDLE

2 – CUTOFF

That’s it !
