How to configure the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle
with the MSFS Aerosoft Airbus A330

This tutorial shows how to configure the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle
with the Aerosoft A330 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We will cover 4 points :

- 1 - Assigning the spoilers
- 2 - Assigning the throttle axes and reversers
- 3 - Assigning the flaps

- 4 - Assigning  the landing gear

IMPORTANT NOTES :
1 - Make sure the ASSISTANCE settings are set to TRUE TO LIFE !
2 - Make sure no other control device (Joystick, yoke, etc.) has any axis assigned to any throttle function.

STEP 1 :
In Flight Simulator, go to OPTIONS -> CONTROLS.
1- Select the BRAVO THROTTLE QUADRANT TAB and create a new empty
profile. Name it "AS-A330" for instance

2 – Assign the SPOILER AXIS function to the speedbrake lever
3 – Assign the FLAPS AXIS function to the flaps lever

4 – Assign the THROTTLE 1 AXIS and THROTTLE 2 AXIS to the
      two middle throttle levers
5 - The Bravo Throttle reversers need to be triggered by inputs.
The Bravo levers axes don’t give axis signal in the reverser portion.

Assign the  THROTTLE 1 DECREASE and THROTTLE 2 DECREASE functions
to the detents at the bottom of each throttle lever.
(With the Airbus Pack, the small reverser flaps need to be raised
       to unlock the detents
)

Note that the REVERSE AXIS box has nothing to do with the reversers

but is only a signal polarity inversion needed with some devices.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Make sure the sensitivity curve of all the axes is linear and reactivity is set to 100%

STEP 2 :

STEP 3 :
IDLE – CLIMB – FLX/MCT – TOGA should be correctly calibrated from the start.
Please make sure the default settings are active in the EFB
Pan/zoom to the EFB, click anywhere in the EFB screen to switch it up.
Click on the little cog wheel in the upper-right corner.

STEP 4 :
The Settings screen appears

IMPORTANT :

Do NOT attempt this calibration when the EFB is undocked.
When undocked, the focus isn't in the main simulator window anymore
and the controls (throttle, yoke, etc.) are disabled making the calibration impossible.

Instead, do this procedure in the virtual cockpit.
