Sam T 3
I have been trying for months now to download the Honeycomb Configurator for Xplane 11 from both the Honeycomb website (which directs to Aerosoft) and the Aerosoft downloads section directly. I click the download button and nothing happens. I have tried multiple browsers (currently using Chrome). Can someone please explain where this is available? Having to spend hours on end configuring everything every time I want to try a new aircraft is painful and so I am hoping the configurator will help this. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted December 13, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2021 To which link are you referring? Maybe righ click and "Save as" solves it. Please login to display this image.
Andrew Kicklighter 0
I'm having this same exact issue. If I right click, there is no "save as" option, just an option to save the link which is not what we want. It's very frustrating to say the least. I'm seeing the same exact issue on the Honeycomb website. This is for X-Plane 11 Windows
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted December 14, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 14, 2021 Then something local on your PC is blocking the download. With Firefox I have no problems to download it. So try another browser, check your settings in the firewall and the av software.
Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1612 Posted December 14, 2021 Administrator Share Posted December 14, 2021 But the Option "Save Link as..." opens a window to save the zip file. This shall work. Or you can use the option "Copy Link adress" and then paste it in a new tab. This also shall download the zip file... Greets Heinz
Sam T 3
I have been able to download files from just clicking the "Download" button across the rest of the website and it appeared to be just this one file that wouldn't work. However, I hadn't realised that you could also use "Save link as..." - this has worked for me! Thank you for taking the time to respond. Hopefully this post helps others!
