FS9 - Moving Scenery

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Update issues aside, are there any issues with moving scenery from the "Aerosoft" (or "Addon Scenery") folders to another drive and changing the references in scenery.cfg?

Specifically, are there any issues with relative textures or effects from the main FS "texture" and/or "effects" folders? I see that most addon scenery has it's textures in the subfolder within the install directory...

Thanks!

Martin

Hello Martin,

A way to find out is to copy the folder from the Aerosoft folder to the place you want it to reside. Then edit the path in the scenery library to the new location.

Restart FS9 and see if the scenery looks fine. If so then delete the original folder in the old location.
