Aerosoft SimWare 720 Posted March 22, 2021 Aerosoft Share Posted March 22, 2021 ASSIGNING THE THROTTLE AXES OF THE CRJ 550/700 Two important steps to consider if you encounter throttle issues with your throttle quadrant : STEP 1 : First of all, make sure no other throttle assignment remains on other devices such as Joystick, yoke, rudder... Some default bindings may interfere with the throttle quadrant signal, making the CRJ not knowing what throttle input needs to be considered as valid. STEP 2: The default Flight Simulator throttle axes assignments often don't work with the Aerosoft CRJ 550/700 resulting in the throttle quadrant not being active in the CRJ aircraft. You simply need to assign the axes as follows : In Flight Simulator, go to OPTIONS -> CONTROLS, go to POWER MANAGEMENT -> THROTTLE, assign the TCA Throttle levers to THROTTLE 1 AXIS and THROTTLE 2 AXIS. Check the REVERSE AXIS box if required. (depends on the throttle quadrant being used) (Note that the REVERSE AXIS box has nothing to do with the reversers but is only a signal polarity inversion needed with some devices.) IMPORTANT : Do NOT use THROTTLE 1 AXIS (0 TO100%) and THROTTLE 2 AXIS (0 TO100%)
amanlulo 7
Hi, thanks; I managed to map the throttle via the new FSUIPC7 version, and it's all ok, it's working fine - of course with the other airplanes too -. Fulvio
