If you are using a non-english Windows. Install the English (United States) Language Package and reboot your computer Microsoft Flight Simulator requires the English (United States) Language Package. These articles are updated all the time so keep on checking. Make sure your hardware has the correct specs. Certainly problems with updating are often solved by restarting! Reset the app: Right click on the flightsim icon -> more (mehr) - app properties (Einstellungen) - Reset (zurücksetzten) the next start , MFS check files and download will redownload what is missing of corrupt.
