A318 Over Thrust at Engine Start (Solved)

Recommended Posts

 I've just built a 4.5 machine which seems to be working fine, except for the throttle setup.  I don't know if this screenshot is of any help, but when I turn the engine on, it goes up to 100% throttle before I can do the other aircraft.  it's set to default, and works with a built-in  smaller Mooney, but none of the A318s.

Please help - when I start it just used to start at around 21% on N1, now it goes to 101% on N2!  If you increase the throttle it will come down like the way it should.

Just so that I understand (because I've been reading your posts for sometimes), you built a new computer?  What are your new system specifications?

Thank you for the screen shot of the P3D Calibration settings.  Would you also please provide a screen shot of the AXIS setup settings?  This would be invaluable.

Thanks Gary!

actually, I've just found that I could not move except a tiny roll, I can't go left or right!

How do I get this joystick working with this aircraft?

Hi Dave.  Screenshots attached.

Please login to display this image.

(there are 3 disks, C and E are running the P3Dv4.5)

In Axis:

X = Ailerons axis

Y = Elevator trim axis

Rudder axis = Rz Axis

Thottle axis = slider

Just to let you know that ChasePlane is installed and working.

Gary,

1. What graphics card?  This is not related to the controller issue, I'm just curious, given that I follow your posts here and elsewhere.

2. Can you please provide a screen shot of your P3D Controller Axis settings?  In your first post you provided te Calibration settings (which is good, that is needed) but I also need to see the Axis setting.

It's a guess, but I"d say that you need to select the "Reverse" box for  your throttle/thrust lever.

Let me know how this works for both the Airbus and the Mooney please.

I made take-offs from both of both of those aircraft, and they are working perfect now!  I'm really to bother you, but I didn't make any changes.

The Configurator was changed and the FADEC Invert box removed.  I suspect this caused the issue in question, and we've had a few other customers who had this occur.

Best wishes.
