ComSimPilot 77
Hello, I just bought the A330. So far I'm very satisfied. Congratulations for the release! One of the things that hit me the most as negative is this: The buttons in the cockpit are not animated (MCDU, FCU, Pedestral etc...) Also, some buttons like the ones in the MCDU are not textured enough, there are just flat surfaces. It would be nice to give them a more 3D look. I would be very glad to have Aerosoft's view on that...
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 9, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted December 9, 2019 I think the buttons on the MCDU are really as they should be, you got any images that show something else? All buttons that have functions are animated, we do not animate buttons that have no functions because they are very demanding on framerate. ComSimPilot 77
Thanks for the reply Mathijs, All short press buttons like the one in the MCDU, FCU, EICAS, transponder are depressed in real life. They are short distance but they get depressed to be selected. Any real Airbus pilot can confirm that. Other airplanes already have this functionality and now in a 2019/2020 P3Dv4 64 simulator I think these details are important details to have. For example, the overhead panel buttons are nicely animated, and this add tremendously to the realism. I am sure everyone would appreciate if you could make them animated.
