Windswept 77 Posted May 10, 2019 Share Posted May 10, 2019 Using P3d v4.3. Amazing detail within the systems. Great aircraft. Oozes character. But the 'Failures" are catching me out. I have had 2 flights using Ctrl + E to start the engine. After idling & run up , with cowl & oil flaps open & Mixture 100% I take off & adjust the controls for climb, but in both flights I seized the engine after about 5 minutes. I suspect there are other pre-takeoff settings I am not getting right. I have been through all the manuals & can't find any "after a Hot Start you need to do this, this & this, before you depart" information.
