Correct mesh location in scenery_packs.ini

Recommended Posts

When using Ortho4XP photo scenery, I just want to confirm what is the correct location in scenery_packs.ini for the mesh folders for the below airports.

ENBR - Bergen

LFKC - Calvi

ENGM - Oslo

I'm guessing for Bergen and Calvi, the mesh will go with the other airport scenery folders and for Oslo, it should be below everything else but above global mesh.

Is that correct?

If you want to see ortho4xp tiles the custom meshes have to be placed below your ortho4xp tiles but you will possibly lose the edited mesh details from the custom mesh. If there is a .dem file shipped with the sceneries you have to create the corresponding ortho4xp tiles using the .dem file for the elevation information.

In general your meshes should be at the bottom of the scenery-packs.ini and the global mesh at lowest position, then wide area meshes like ortho4xp or hd/uhd mesh v4 and above the local meshes from the airports. An exception here is ortho4xp if you want to see the orthophotos instead of the landclass based custom meshes - in this case your ortho4xp mesh has to be above the airport meshes (actually you don't need the airport meshes at all and could uninstall them).
