mikeody 0
I am slowly but surely getting to grips with flying the A320. But for the first time ever yesterday at the flashing "LVR CLB" when I reduced thrush levers back to CL to engage Climb Thrust, on the PFD I had a brief "A-FLOOR" followed by flashing "TOGA LK" warning. With the benefit of the 'pause' key I somehow managed to save the situation but I am still unsure as to what the causes may have been. Can anyone advise please ? mikeody
amahran 608
That would happen if your speed was dropping dangerously low. A-FLOOR is the bus's way of saying "Oh god I'm about to stall jam the throttle jam the throttle jam the throttle" Watch your speed on departure and make sure your speed doesn't drop below V2+10. When you pull to CLB, remember to lower the nose.
mikeody 0
Thanks 'Solo'. I suspected that and I also suspect that it happened because I had too steeper climb rate afte rotation. Will take more care next time and see what happens. mikeody
