    .... and what will be the added value over buying it from PMDG? If your senior technical staff don't touch the aicraft then the support will have to come from users or from PMDG anyway ;)
  2. The Sandy Bridge uses dual channel memory where was the previous i7 linage used tri channel. Plus its also faster speed and lower latency RAM, and looks damn good in red :lol: not that it will be seen once the case is closed up.

    Cool! Which CPU cooler do you use? Did you adapt the old one (not sure what it was) or do you use the stock one?

  3. I could ask the same as I've already bought over 30 products, but I don't think that it's ok to ask him to give you a free addon. That's his decision and you can be happy if he dicides to give you a gift.

    Anyway I think there are guys who buy much more than you or me and those guys are getting the addons then.

    I have purchased around 60 products during the last 4 years (more or less) and never saw one "bonus" out of it. Nevertheless, Mathijs was very generous giving me a freebie due to my contribution for Andras Field and I won another 2 due to my activity in Andras Meridian VA. I really think Aerosoft chooses "good customers" not neccessarily based only on the amount spent with a credit card. Since it is a private company they can have any preferences they want for anyone they want based on any cosideration they want and this is ok and understood. I agree to the stated before that business is business and in the forum post telling about the Aerosoft staff members we can see how many families need to keep making their living out of us buying the products (and with all the piracy temptations in the market this is not self explanatory). Just my personal feeling without criticizing anyone, I never bought one single product from Aerosoft thinking to be a "frquent flyer", I did buy it because my experience showed I'm getting very good quality products from a solid company and together with the very best customer post-sale support I could ever ask for supporting my hobby. But anyways, if there will be some kind of a "frequent flyer" program, please count me in :D

  4. The NDB / VOR data is not related to the dBase manage. It is updated from the AIRAC installed while the dB Manager is updating FSX configuration issues. On the low left side of the FSC welcome screen you should see which AIRAC is installed. Hope that helps...

    I think this AF challenge is great, I wish I had the time to fly, now my days are full and I'm getting up 2-3 times a night, you probably guess why :) Anyway I am interested in the FSFlyingSchool and want to deploy it in my system but I'm a bit concerened of it affecting frame rates, or be affected from low frame rates (delay in voice announcements etc.)

    Can you please your wide experince from the product regarding the frames issue please?

    Thank you for taking the step to communicate with us (your customers), I think this is a great move. Previously (few months ago) I have taken the opportunity to contact you directly via email regarding Andras Field Code of Conduct, but given this thread I am choosing to approach you in public now.

    This time I would like to thank someone in person, and focus your attention to a very dear employee which I truely thank and admire. During the past few years I have encountered few problems needed support from Aerosoft team. Regardless of the way I contacted Aerosoft nor the day of the week (latest example is from today), Mr. Shaun Fletcher was the one delivering a quick and exact answer to solve the issue.

    Other than the quick responses and the exact resolutions, Shauns' attitude is always respecting others, polite and modest. I think this contributes a lot to aerosofts' front end facing the customers, being an example to follow. Please pass dear Shaun my deep appreciation for his customer service and consistent approach.

    I have the FSC registered in my faq/updates section but going into the "FlightSim Commander X" support page all I can see is questions and answers, can't seem to find the recent 9.0.0.5 update. I have purchased the FSC9.0 in a different store than AS (if it makes any difference). How can I update my product?
