  1. I'm told that a change in the .cfg is needed for them to work. They work if added to version 2.02 of the Tomcat in P3Dv3.4.22.19868 but if added to the newer version F-14 (3.00) they do not. What's changed with version 3.00 in that aspect?
  2. Ran across this....
  3. It does not preview in the window and does not show once started on runway. I'm absolutely certain they were installed correctly. These repaints were from Groom Lake Simulations for the F-14. If I revert to the previous 2.02 version Tomcat any repaints added work perfectly. Repaints from here....
  4. Any particular reason why repaints wont work but default aircraft work fine?
  5. This is a known issue that has yet to be resolved. Best bet..... Use 2.02 and no issues.
  6. Support ticket was submitted but the response was the usual uninstall/reinstall....was even told P3Dv3 wasn't supported. LOL. Funny that it says v3 support and there are (2) installers for P3D....3.00 (P3Dv3) and 3.01 (P3Dv4). Even says P3Dv3 support here.... No luck with that. Same issue. I'm back to 2.02 without any issues.

    Wing Sweep

Could you describe this? I have this issue. Nothing is sweeping the wings open unless I check mark 'Cold and dark' After doing that I continue to have no control over flaps or wings. WTH... Using an X-56 and did not have this issue with the 2.02 version in P3Dv3.4.22.19868

    Repaint issue

It's the aircraft.cfg entry once you add the repaint be sure that the new entry has after sim=..... P3D
  9. Update: For anyone with this issue it's related to repaints created for FSX/FSX SE not for P3Dv3+ The fix is to go into the aircraft.cfg file (P3D F14 once installed) and check the repaint entry and be sure to add 'P3D' at the end of.... sim=
  10. Was running F14X 2.02 in P3Dv3.4.22.19868 with some repaints from Groomlake site without issue. After updating to the F14 Extended 3.00 the same repaints fail to show at all. Any ideas? Im guessing its something to do with the difference in how each F14 installer places files in P3Dv3.
  11. Any update? It's odd that after install all the default ones show but any repaints added do not. An F14 Extended folder was created in the root P3Dv3 folder (E:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3) and in it are all the perspective folders. Took another shot at installing this to a different location.... Installed to.... E:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\SimObjects\Airplanes\F-14 Extended Once installed the F14 Extended folder contained folders.... Aerosoft Effects Fonts Gauges SimObjects Texture and within them all their prospective folders/files. So clearly this installer is not installing folders/files correctly.
  12. A clean install of P3Dv3 resolved this.
  13. Any repaints added do not show up within P3D when selected and they also fail to run. I'm certain they were added correctly including the Aircraft.cfg entry and ordering. Looking in the SimObjects folder within P3D root and there is no F-14 entry whatsoever. No files were added within the root folder of P3D. I did not have this issue with the previous 2.02 version. This is with a clean P3D3.4.22.19868 install. I had this issue just prior to uninstalling P3D as well. My previous try (prior to clean P3D install) I had pointed the installer to E: Prepar3D v3 After install it created an F-14 Extended folder within the root P3D folder and in it were all the aircraft folders/files.
  14. Update: After a clean install of P3Dv3.4.22.19868 this issue is still present. All default aircraft load fine. Any repaint/s do not. It does not add the actual plane files into P3D root folder but into the Prepar3D v3 Add-ons folder along with another folder that contains an xml file. I installed the F14 into C:\Users\udidwhtPC\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Add-ons The default install location was C:\Myaddons I have P3D installed to E:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
