That would depend on whether you are using FS 2004 or FSX. If you have it set to FSX it used simconnect. If you have it connected to FS9 it uses fsuipc. I'm not sure what you have tried already so maybe you could let us know what version you are using and what you have tried? Thanks Paul Dahlen

I'm sure lots of folks already know this, but I've used Photoshop Elements V 2.0 for a couple of years to do repaints. It will also convert PDF airport and approach plates to JPG so you can import them into FSMap. I did it last night with an airport chart and it works great. You can probably find PE version 2.0 for less than $20 these days. Just another idea. Paul

I'm using the ATI x850xt pe with 256meg. According to MemStatus, FSX is not ever using all of the 256, so I have no plans on updating my graphics card. Now... if only I could find a superfast single-core cpu!

It was fun to listen to them when I first bought the beaver for fs9, but I only listened once or twice. Generally, a Beaver Pilot would not have anyone calling out a checklist, would they? If you want to keep it, you could just put a small icon somewhere perhaps.

I don't speak or read German, but I browse the forum from time to time. Congratulations to all the personnel at Aerosoft for being recognized for what I have found to be the best, fastest, and most courteous product support I have encountered in the flight sim world!

This is usually where these ######ing contests start getting ugly. Someone implies that someone else is not being truthful and demands proof. Proof is either shown or not shown - if it isn't, then someone crows that they must be right because no proof is forthcoming - if it is, it is discredited one way or another, and on and on with no conclusion other than those on the FS9 side will continue to trash FSX and those enjoying FSX will continue to do so despite some problems. In the south here in the U.S. you can start the same thing by saying Ford or Chevy. 8)

I rarely fly default aircraft in FSX. Time will tell about FSX's future. Looks like Aerosoft and many other payware companies are banking on it.

I've been locked out of the BeaverX Beta Forum. I went in to give you some new camera views and some more comments, and the forum says I need special access. Was it something I said? or didn't say?? Looking forward to getting back in - in the meantime, I'll save my comments and work.
