Hi,
Like Mathjs said, starting is not easy and can be overwhelming in the beginning (terminology, etc)
However after a few flights, you will get used to it.
I started online flying eons ago and since then never flew offline anymore
It is so much fun to fly with real ATC and other aircraft/pilots.
Just bite the bullet and go for it, you won't regret it.
About IVAO/VATSIM
It is a matter of your location (and likings)
Personally I prefer VATSIM over IVAO.
For Europeans VATSIM is more present in Mid/Northern Europe, IVAO is more present in the Mid/Southern region.
(correct me if I'm wrong)

For a Denmark oriented VA, you could check Scandinavian VA: http://www.scandinavian-va.eu
Also I understood the Brittsh Airways VA is pretty good : http://www.bavirtual.co.uk
There are dozens of good VA's around, It really depends on your preferences: Region, Fleet, etc, etc

I don't know if it has already been suggested, but is it possible to redefine the repaint logic a bit, like:
AES-VN-01-11-ESXX : Repaint is valid for all airports starting with ICAO code ES??
AES-VN-01-11-ESSA : Repaint will overwrite the ESXX repaint
This way it is possible to quickly assign a certain repaint for all airports in a country and if desired to assign also a repaint for a specific airport.
Currently it is kinda tedious to rename appr. 20 files, for each airport you would like to use it.
For example Germany : renaming 20 x 10-15 airports to use a specific repaint.
AES-VN-01-11-EDXX would do the trick much easier.

Sorry, but I have found a bug in the towless big truck, which results in CTD's. This is fixed in 2.21.
Do we have to re-download/re-install version 2.21 or was it already fixed in 2.21 when it was released?

Updates are going to be announced in the "New releases and Updates" section of the forum.
It would be nice if it worked this way.
I searched for 'ELLX' to find an announcement for the V1.20 update, but no luck.
Seriously, it really isn't that difficult to provide somewhere a list stating the latest versions of all products.
Each time an update is put on the server, someone also needs to update this list.
Takes about a minute and a lot of customers (if not all) can benefit from it.
Aerosoft can build the list from scratch (i.e. starting now) with each new update and in 6-12 months time or or so the list is complete.
I sincerely hope Aerosoft considers this.

Sometimes by accident I read in a forum that a scenery/aircraft was updated.
How/where can I discover when and what product was updated?
It is a bit silly to open each and every order each week/month/quarter? to check if it has been updated.
Is there somewhere a list available (or notification service) when a product has been updated?

I installed them and the answer is affirmative: AES keeps working.
After un-install/install I ran the resync function in AES and everything is fine.

Egbert, I think it´s a "local" problem. Below sceenshots was taken tonight while checking my night lightning. I have flown into EDDS a few times without any issues.

Issue solved. I downloaded again EDDS software and did a complete reinstall.
Now I can find my assigned gate again

Do you have an issue with the scenery or your aircraft?
Coincidently, this afternoon I took off from LFPO RWY24 and everything was fine, I did not have problems or whatsoever.

Hi,
For a change I flew to EDDS in the dark.
When I landed however there was absolutely no apron lighting or whatsoever.
I had severe difficulties taxiing and reaching the gate.
Is this a bug or feature?

I'll try to find out if this is the way it should be regarding the activation process with this scenery.

I added the scenery (and landclass) manually to FS9 scenery.cfg, so I guess it's OK now ?!?
At least I can see it now in FS9.
If I need to do more, let me know.

I never have seen/used the Aerosoft Launcher.
The 'Activate' button is grayed out. Please advise.

The old Lisbon 2008 is the old Produkt (where only the FS9 was available), the Version you see in the shop is Mega Airport Lisbon X, which is in Verison 1.10 for FSX only, FS9 still 1.01.
But the FSX Installerlink in you Lisbon 2008 shop entry is also 1.10. For the FS9 in both Products the installer is Version 1.01.

Where can I get the update?
Nor in the order section or support section there is a full/update V1.1 available.

Hi,
Recently I installed (clean) the latest full version of EHAM, V1.14.
The taxiways V3 and V4 (runway 36L) are still dirt tracks like taxiway B was between S4-E1.
This has been reported many months ago, and still it is not solved.
Also the runway designator at V3 shows 18L-36R. Of course this has to be 18R-36L.
It is tiny issue but it demonstrates in my opinion the lack of testing.
I'm sorry to say but Aerosoft is not managing this project at all.
Is there a manner I can solve the dirt issue at V3/V4 myself?

For those using the SAS retro livery (OY-KBO):
I hope that AS comes with a more convenient way of transforming old liveries to current ones.
This is just trail and error method.
