Another thanks from Western Australia too! I nearly posted but found this fix first - something I started getting into the habit of doing since embarrassing myself a few times in the past! I didn't bother to check if my fs9 has AES support for this airport because I use FSX a lot more, but I do a lot more online flying with FS9. That's how it caught my eye....
Anyway, it's time that Simmarket get told (by me I guess) they need to update some of their software - I went into my account to see they still are showing the V2.0 of TNCC as of 5 June, 2012 for download. This update (where did you get it from?) brings FS9's TNCC to V2.1... I bought it quite a long time ago.....

I wanted to post that I just bought the FS9 version of Yekaterinburg and it is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! One can only imagine how nice the FSX version is going to be when it comes out! The winter textures are a must see for FS9...amazing work all 'round. Very well done Aerosoft - Thank you!

AES 2.23a already works with USSS just fine.
I really wanted to post here that the FS9 version of Yekaterinburg is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!! One can only imagine how nice the FSX version is going to be when it comes out! Very well done Aerosoft. The winter textures are a must see for FS9...amazing work all 'round.

I don't understand the update news on the main purchase page - it says the upgrade is not ony for the GAP 3 package and also for the individual airports listed. I have both these installed, as stated above, and I really need help sorting this one out. I can't find an update for the "GAP 3 package" anywhere in my account. I only see the single airports.
Anyone?

I am starting with FS9 for now and will post any FSX problems separately if need be after I sort this one:
Just downloaded the 2012 versions of GAP 3 2012 EDDT; EDDW; EDDH. I uninstalled the old ones first, then installed the 2012 versions. EDDT and EDDW are not showing up in AES 2.21 help even though they are installed in the FS9 scenery library and appear normal in FS9 itself (the AES animations also do not work).
EDDH X is showing up in AES, but I also have EDDH (old) there, but turned off (default). How do I get rid of that even though I uninstalled the old? I also have flickering textures in EDDH X which I did not have in the old version. Also, MyFS9 scenery library has EDDH_LC not checked. Why is that the case? I have AS Scenery Germany 1, 2, 3, and 4 installed and maybe this is supposed to happen with EDDH Landclass?
I also had GAP 3 Bundle installed (it has these and other aiports as well). Now GAP 3 Bundle is not showing up in "Start/All Programs/Aerosoft" anymore. The airports it had are showing up in AES even though not listed in my programs list.
I realize this post covers AES scenery as well as scenery issues, so I will also post these problems in the AES forum as well. It's a multi-facted problem and not easy to separate into 2 distinct posts as I feel these problems are overlapping somehow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got the free EHAM but still waiting for email notification for Aerosoft's version as it is not in stock. Also waiting for Aerosoft LSZH - not in stock either. Any idea when these are coming in Mathijs? Are we Xplane users a small breed or something? ;-)

Had a look at buildings, trees, etc,, and all seem pretty much OK but it changes a bit depending on perspective. Where exactly are you seeing this behaviour or is it a global issue? Might help if I went to the same place you're going to have a really good look.
Saw this on another scenery forum here. Amazing possibilites are looming for Xplane http://osm2xp.com/ You probably already saw it. If so, sorry for the duplicate.

I haven't had a chance to do what you did, but it's a good question. I'm still trying to figure out why I have purple roads outside of LFMN right now!

Also looking fwd to 1.43, but am ever so careful entering data as any pilot ought to be (not considering real pax are in real danger of a real crash - not so on a desktop until the day our PC's will probably reach out and choke us ;-) )

Just remembered I did install a couple more airport sceneries and forgot to run the FSC database tool...oops! Oh well. I learn something new every day! Even still, I will reboot after installing something new from now on just to be sure.

I've been using FSC 8.6 for a very, very long time now without any problems whatsoever, nor have I changed a single thing on it (including the weather link in "window/downloads") but it will NOT show weather as of this morning. All the weather boxes are checked. I have gone to airports all around the world after a succesful wx download and analasys, but it's a no show everywhere I go.
Win7 Prox64 UAC off, installed away from protected files and run as administrator from day one (many years ago).
What could have happened to cause weather to disappear?

*EDIT* I re-booted my PC and it is now working OK again.... wierd!

Christmas on summer pictures, hahaha...
Living in Australia since 1983, I've had to put up with 100 degrees Farenheit (minimum) each and every Christmas. I'm originally from New York City and would kill for a snowy Christmas! Oh, nostalgia can be painful....it's the reason Americans, Canadians, and Europeans have a "Christmas in July" function "down under".
I wonder if Aerosoft will try to compete with OrbX and maybe consider doing some Australian airport sceneries? Nudge, nudge

Sorry Shaun, but I didn't get an option to install it or not. It says (after the serial key and username is entered to get "Registration successful") that "launcher version 1.0.0.9 will install... this small tool ..." I can't recall what else it says, but it installs it way before I get the option to tick or not tick the box "do you want to run the launcher now?" It doesn't ask if I want to install it or not - it does that on its own and If I had the option to not istall it at that earlier stage, I would say no, because I always check for the latest launcher before I install a freshly purchased (or updated) scenery.
Seeing that the embedded launcher in the GAP 2 2012 installers is 1.0.0.9 and the latest released launcher is 1.1.0.0, I simply ran the installers again and said to "remove" (3 tries at repairing didn't work) the scenery. I waited a minute between that and running again and re-installed every scenery, checking the respective fs/aerosoft/airport/scenery for a .blob to find it finally gone, so I continued until I re-installed all (I bought all the GAP 2 airports from you) of them. Only some of the airports launcher's ask "do you want to run the launcher now?", but not all. Why this is, I do not know, but I didn't tick the box this time around.
All is fixed now in both FSX and FS9. It took 4 days to do, but I'm happy. I admit I was getting a bit hot under the collar the first 2 days, but I'm in Australia and the temperature here was 104 degrees F for the past week! That didn't help ;-) Today was only 103...."but it's a dry heat" lol

I am using the latest launcher - why don't they include the latest launcher with the latest scenery? It causes mega-problems. Seeing as I already knew this launcher issue since the inception of the launcher (which I personally suggest should not be embedded with software, but run as a mandatory, but separate process), hence, I ALWAYS get the latest launcher BEFORE I get the latest sceneries. But still have this problem. I need help please.
PS - if you are going to insist on embedding the launcher in a scenery, you must make sure it is the latest launcher. This costs me, you, and everyone else time and money.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Aerosoft for these updates, however:
I downloaded all the GAP 2 2012 FS9 and FSX (I purchased all airports concerned quite some time ago) from my account, installed using the serial keys/username and it all went in (Of course I un-installed all the earier versions from the control panel), Now I am left with totally unusable airports in FSX (scenery files in each and every airport in FSX have a .blob extension) and in FS9, EDDK and EDLW are unusable (they also have .blob extensions in their respective scenery folders).
I had fully working airports before this update, but now am left with none that work in FSX at all and two (EDDK and EDLW) that don't work in FS9. What am I supposed to do to fix this issue? I emailed Aerosoft support and I still have no reply witha solution - I only received a question from Shaun "are there any .blob files in the sceneries?" to which I replied a "Yes". So, I'm still waiting and a bit frustrated to be honest - especially seeing all the other issues I've read here.

I just updated all my GAP2 to the 2012 version. All airports are ok except EDDK and EDLW - the scenery folders have many BGL files with .blob added to them and the scenery is totally unusable. What do I do? I have the latest launcher. It's funny that even new sceneries have an older version of the launcher embedded in them than the one I have installed and I suspect this may be a culprit? Why do you stick an older launcher in a new scenery file? Why put a launcher routine install at all? If you arern't going to put the latest launcher in the newest scenery, then this causes a lot of problems and takes a lot of time to sort out both for the end user and the support team. Can you not simply make the launcher a mandatory, yet totally separate install routine?This will eliminate a heap of problems.
It just happens to be the way I solved launcher issues in the past - I go and fetch the latest launcher BEFORE I put in a new scenery, then I run it after the install finishes. I DO believe the launcher is causing these problems regardless of what anyone says because in all the years I've purchased sceneries from Aerosoft, I NEVER had a problem until the launcher was included in a scenery. Every install used to be seamless and perfect. BTW - I have bought nearly every single scenery that Aerosoft makes. Have a look at my account.
Before I updated, all these older sceneries were beautiful. Now I can't fly anywhere near them at all.
Still, I await an answer to fix EDDK and EDLW regardless of my thoughts as to the launcher (at least for me I believe causes me too many hassles as it is now).

I hate to sound wary (possibly gullible), but one thing really worries me; Watching the news from my TV lounge chair here in Australia (where our economy is fortunately very strong) the situation is so focused on the Euro being on the verge of collapse. What then???

Just purchased this for FS9 (getting FSX version now for 50%off - thanks for that!)) and wondering why it isn't showing up in AES 2.13? If it isn't ready for AES yet, when will it be for FS9?

Nice for FS9 is not yet compatible with AES so therefore wont show till the next version of AES.
As for any Launcher issues you need to write to support@aerosoft.com

I re-installed the Launcher (it wasn't completed installing during another aerosoft scenery install - I was a bit impatient!
). After that was fixed, I had no activation problems at all and just had a very enjoyable flight into Barcelona. I have to say your sceneries are getting better and better as time goes by! As for AES and Nice, I can wait... FSX version is absolutely stunning!Best regards,

Just purchased NICE Cte d'Azur X and updated my FSC database, but thie airport is not showing up either in FSX or FS9. Why??
EDIT!! LFMN (Nice Core'd'Azurre X)and LOWI (approaching Innsbruck) is installed in FSX and shows up in FSX AES help (it is activated) and also is showing in FSCommander, but FS9's AES help does NOT show LFMN, nor does FSCommander. I bought 4 different sceneries today : Approcahing InnsbruckX; StuutgartX; Mega Airport BarcelonaX: and Nice Cote d'AzureX. Now, I had installed a long time ago GA1 and France 1 (along with almost everything aerosoft has to offer - Shaun, check out my purchase history and see how much I spend here)!. I posted elswhwere in these forums last night BEFORE I bought these today to find out if I need to uninstall anything before I put these new sceneries in today and a tech from Aerosoft said the installer will do it all for me. Well, I am now gettinmg a "registry key missing" in the "Aerosoft Launcher" that was installed today for the first time ever. What is this "Aerosoft Launcher" ?? It seems to be causing me a lot of problems! What am I supposed to do to get FS9's LFMN and LOWI to be activated ?? Aside from all this trouble, I don't know for sure that LOWI is the new one I bought today or is the one that came with GA1 Bundle! I'm only talking about fs9 here (the FSX installs went fine). What is this error I get with this "Aerosoft Launcher"??? I think it has alot to do with the problems I'm encountering. I NEVER had trouble with Aerosoft sceneries in the past until today! It is the main reason I spend so much money here - it all works fine, until this "Aerosoft Launcher" got put on my machine wihout my perrmission. Why do I need to have it if my registry key and email address match?
Can anyone help me here please?

Is "uninstalling" F1 View as simple as removing the F1_view.dll from FS modules folder? I ask because I can't find it in "programs and features" in the Windows 7 Control Panel as an installed program. I only have the dll in Fs Modules.
