  1. Hi Oliver, Yes, with new LPMA_OBJ-Ground.BGL, the white markings are back. Thank you. I also copied the LPMA_RWY-PAPI.BGL file to fix the PAPI lights, but problems remain in Madeira X Evolution v1.04. 1. The PAPI lights fade, disappear, reappear during the day... 2. During the night, the PAPI lights are OK, but a bit blurred sometimes... 3. Also, if, after the night, we select the day, the PAPI lights are buggy again, and the 3D lights at the airport are ON! The 3D lights go off if we get close... If we end the flight, then start a new flight in Madeira, the 3D lights at the airport remain ON during the day. For these 3D lights to be OFF during the day, we need to close then restart FSX SE! Watch the video below... Please, appreciate that I spent 3 hours investigating this, as well as making the video.
  2. Thank you Martin. I thought I was the only one, but there is nothing wrong with my system. I uninstalled and reinstalled, twice, and it's still the same as in my video in post #159.
  3. In /scenery/world/scenery, I have only AFX_LPMA_ALT.BGL date modified 22/05/2017 time 12:00. No other lpma there. Has anything changed about lpma files in VECTOR? As I said, the white markings were fine in v1.00 to 1.03. I just don't know what to do now...
  4. Hi Oliver, At home now. So I put all in 1 post: easier to read. As I wrote in my sentence in bold in post #159 (where I ask also if SODE is needed, which I am still asking...), I have FSX SE: from fsx.exe: file version: 10.0.62615.0 product version: 10.0.62615.0 (FSX.20150710-1055) I have no other addon for Madeira. I used to have the old Madeira from Aerosoft till a few months ago: could the uninstaller of the old Madeira have left some files in FSX\World\... folder? But why didn't I have any black center with EVO v1.01, v1.02 and v1.03, and all the white markings were fine? I have Orbx Vector, but it doesn't seem to cause problems. Also, there is no white markings anywhere on the runway, not only the center. The white markings are replaced by lighter grey markings, so we can see where the white markings are supposed to be. Point 3. Where the gap was in v1.03 (cliff near Machico), from far enough, we get "climbing water cliffs" that get fixed when getting closer: this can't be my mesh, as it is set at 1 meter, as advised. This was perfect with your EVO v1.02, and there was a hole with v1.03. Regards
  5. Hi Oliver, At work now, so I will be fast: As I wrote in my sentence in bold in post #159 (where I ask also if SODE is needed, which I am still asking...), I have FSX SE . I will have to check at home for exact version... I have no other addon for Madeira. I used to have the old Madeira from Aerosoft till a few months ago: could the uninstaller of the old Madeira have left some file in FSX\World\... folder? But why didn't I have any black center with EVO v1.01, v1.02 and v1.03? I have Orbx Vector, but this seems fine. Point 3. This was perfect with your EVO v1.02, and there was a hole with v1.03. Regards
  6. Hi, I installed v1.04. Thank you for the configurator, which comes handy. I appreciate the improvements, but I have the following issues: 1. Where are the white markings on the runway?2. The PAPI lights disappear/reappear when getting closer to the runway, on both 05 and 23 sides3. Where the gap was in v1.03 (cliff near Machico), from far enough, we get "climbing water cliffs" that get fixed when getting closer 4. Minor issue: there is a lorry "embedded" on the slope near the middle of the runway. See video from 01:16 to 01:18 I understand SODE is no longer necessary for v 1.04, as there is no difference if I start FSX SE with or without SODE. Am I correct? See the "quick and dirty" video below: Regards, Raymond
  7. Watch my video in the post above from 00:03 to 00:39. It seems it's only in slew mode, fortunately.
  8. I have FSX SE only. For road traffic around the airport, see my posts above. For aircraft traffic at the airport, I never had any: I think it is by design, not to cause problems with other aircraft traffic addon.
  9. Christian1974, I agree, some problems that were solved in 1.02 are back. But something has changed in lpma_apttfc.BGL: it seems the road traffic around the airport is not in it now. Explanation: I had/have to remove/disable lpma_apttfc.BGL because it lowers FPS: In v 1.02, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~15 FPS, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~35 FPS. In v 1.02, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I have no road traffic around the airport. In v 1.03, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is ON I got ~10 FPS, if lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF I got ~20 FPS. In v 1.03, when lpma_apttfc.BGL is OFF, I still have road traffic around the airport. So, the road traffic around the airport is in another BGL. Questions: In which BGL is the road traffic around the airport? What is in lpma_apttfc.BGL?
  10. Hi, I installed v 1.03 on Friday 21 April, and found the following issues: see the video below. I spent some time on this, to try to help... NB: as I found the following 3 issues within minutes, I stopped investigating, so there may be other issues I didn't see. I have FSX SE only. - there is a hole/gap on the cliff/road between airport and Machico (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)- weird shadows on runway 23 side (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)- aircraft hits something above/around runway 23 side in different locations/altitudes, even with Crash detection set to OFF. (NB: this problem does not occur in v 1.02)Settings is 1 meter. I have the same settings as for v 1.02. Also, in v 1.03 I had to remove/disable lpma_apttfc.BGL because otherwise I only get 10 FPS. In v 1.02 I got 15 FPS with lpma_apttfc.BGL. See my PC specs at the end of this post. In v 1.03 without lpma_apttfc.BGL I get 20 FPS. In v 1.02 without lpma_apttfc.BGL I got 35 FPS. Question: in Porto Santo, where are the windmils? None of these problems were in v 1.02. See this topic, with a video made using v 1.02: (NB: I uninstalled v1.03 and reinstalled v1.02, and the issues I described above are gone) My PC specs: - Intel Core i7 5960X Haswell-E 8-Cored 3.50GHz Processor (Overclocked to 4.3 GHz) - Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - Asus Rampage V Extreme Intel X99 Motherboard - 64GB Crucial DDR4 2133MHz Memory (8 x 8GB sticks) - Asus GeForce GTX 980 TI 6GB STRIX OC Direct CU II - 512GB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive: OS and programs - 2TB Samsung 850 Pro Solid State Drive: sims - 2 Western Digital BLACK SERIES 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive in RAID 1 Configuration - Corsair AX 1200i 80 PLS Platinum Modular 1200W PSU - Creative Sound Blaster ZX Gaming Soundcard - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
  11. Indeed. But personally, I would not mind at all paying twice the current price for such improvements. What kills quality and businesses these days, is the "cheap everything" mentality. I am no millionaire; I just prioritise what I buy always aimed at quality, not quantity. I am not saying Madeira X Evolution is bad, I just put a 26 minutes video on YouTube about it, flying all over the island in a T45, and one can see I truly enjoy this scenery. But small improvements still need doing...
  12. Thank you 12bPilot. Should I install v 1.4.3? I can't see it in http://sode.12bpilot.ch/?page_id=9
