  1. Thanks Stephen. That procedure works. I was auto-launching it from the ASP3D section. That clearly doesn't pick up all the parameters. I've now added it to the Run section. It starts fine and after P3D exits it closes ASP3D correctly.
  2. It says 0. What does that mean?
  3. Yes to both. See attached screenshot. Where is the value for LIve set in the ASP3D.ini file?
  4. Hi Cpt Pero, I've installed SimStarterNG and Active Sky P3D on a new computer running P3D v5.3HF2. In the Extended Settings Active Sky options the ActiveSky (ASP3D) ConFig1 Set is selected. In the General section of that screen Live is the preferred option. But when ASP3D is launched it sets the Historical option. If I run ASP3D independently it does set the option to Live. Why won't it work via SSNG?
  5. @Mathijs Kok, thanks for the link. I have Prague installed on my old computer so I’ll try copying the folders over and the add-on.xml or entry in scenery.cfg. If that doesn’t work I’ll try the request option.
  6. I’ve gone to the English version of that site but cannot see a way to raise a ticket. This is an Aerosoft Mega Airport but I cannot install it because the installer says there is no internet connection. I can assure you I have internet access. Please raise this problem with those responsible. I’m not prepared to give up using an airport I’ve paid for.
  7. I have the same problem with Prague. Firewall is off. Is there a solution please?
  8. Import? Do you mean allow the program to generate a new one and then change it to your preferences?
  9. Thanks Stephen. So it’s fully compatible despite its “alpha” status?
  10. Hello Peter. I’ve held off updating to v5.4 until SimStarterNG is fully compatible. Will you be making the required changes? It’s one program I cannot be without.
  11. Mathijs,

Back on 9 December I posted a polite message on the AES sub-forum asking Oliver to update us on the status of AES. Given I have paid over £140 for AES credits I felt I was entitled to know what the future is for AES.

I'm not talking about it working with Steam or P3D but basic stuff like the baggage handlers unloading and loading an aircraft. Currently they just stand there and do nothing. For a specialist program that's not very good.

There were a few messages from Moderators who I politely asked not to reply as I wanted to hear only from Oliver. Eventually, the topic was locked even though no improper language had been used.

I posted another topic a couple of weeks later again asking why Oliver visits the forum but doesn't answer questions from a loyal customer. That too was locked.

Today I see yet another topic asking for news has been locked. Have you noticed a trend developing here? Every reasonable question about the future of AES is locked. This seems totally unreasonable. If you have access to Oliver perhaps you can persuade him to post something because as things stand I'm done buying any more credits until I hear some news.

    Thank you.

  12. Mathijs,

You may have seen my post on the AES sub-forum about lack of development of AES for FSX:MS. I am expecting Oliver to post a reply given the amount I have invested in his product.

Looking through the forum posts he doesn't appear to have answered any questions since 4 October - over 2 months ago.

I have no idea why he's taken such a step away from support but my post is one he needs to answer. Can you give him a nudge please? I'm sure plenty of those who have invested heavily in AES want to know what the future holds.

    Thanks.

  13. Sorry everyone. I saw the message in Mailwasher which allows me to 'see' messages in my mailbox before I download them. I didn't notice the link at the bottom of the message to view the spam message from inside my Aerosoft account. I've just clicked the link now and it can't find anything. So it looks like your washing process has sent loveone to eternal damnation! Far too good if you ask me!
  14. Hi, I hope this is the right place to report this. I've just received a message from someone called loveone asking me to write to them at a hotmail address.
  15. I also agree that the follow-me car powers ahead too quickly leaving me in its wake. Can it be slowed down please?
  16. Hi Mathijs, That's great news! I hope one of those other projects is Rome Fiumicino. Italy is such a lovely country and the fact that the only FS2004 airport scenery available is the freeware very old ISD Project is a flight sim crime. I sincerely hope any airports that are produced will be compatible with FS2004. The 'Mega Airports' range suggest it's not difficult to make a product for both FS2004 and FSX. Regarding piracy and store inaccessability why is Italy hit so hard? Surely the majority of FS sales are online these days where sufficient safeguards exist.
  17. Hi Oliver, I'm still using FS2004 and use the ancient but good ISD Project LIPZ airport scenery. However, the gate numbers in the AES version don't match those in the ISD scenery and also the real-life parking gates. I appreciate this is a very old scenery package but as you were kind enough to provide an alternative AES file for LIRF I was wondering if you could do the same for LIPZ. I was hoping there might be a commercial version of Venice by now but the only one is for FSX only. Italy seems to be ignored by airport developers. Such a pity. Many thanks.
  18. Here are the details of how the credit system works... Bonus system ! Since version 1.20 AES uses a bonus system that automatically adds additional free credits when you bought a certain number of serial codes. From version 1.99 this system is changed: If you bought between 3 and 6 credit packs you get 1 free credit per credit pack you bought (so 10% additional free credits). If you bought 6 credit packs you get 2 free credits per credit pack (so 20% additional credits). If you bought 9 credit packs you get 3 free credits per credit pack (so 30% additional credits). If you bought 15 credit packs you get 4 free credits per credit pack (so 40% additional credits). It's not possible to change the number of credits when purchasing. If you want 2 you should go through the purchase process twice.
  19. Sorry Oliver. I completely forgot there is more than one shop.
  20. Hi Scott, I buy my credits on SimMarkets. Here's the link. http://secure.simmarket.com/aerosoft-online-aes-credits.phtml If you want to buy more than one credit pack you have to go through the purchase process for each one as it's not possible to purchase more than 1 at a time. Remember the more credits you buy the bigger the discount. i.e. you get bonus credits.
  21. Scott, You need to unzip 2.11 and install it. Afterwards you'll have the option to buy a credit for Liverpool. That option won't exist with earlier versions.
  22. Just to resolve this for others. There is a file that corrects the gate numbers at ISD's LIRF. The instructions on how to get it are in my message on AvSim here.
  23. Thanks Oliver. I have selected the alternative config and the gate numbers at LIRF now match the gate shown in the AES menu. However, when I choose GoTo Airport in FS9 and select LIRF the gate numbers are still shown as alpha-numeric. I'm going to have to find an alternative AFCAD as the gate numbers are definitely all numeric now as confirmed by my most recent Navigraph parking chart for LIRF. I'll look for one that hopefully matches your modified config. Kind regards,
  24. Oliver, You've been away so may have missed my message. Can you provide a solution to the problem described above please? I have no way of getting taxi guidance to the gates because of this mismatch with the gate numbers. Although the LIRF scenery was freeware I've paid 3 credits for AES support and would like to use the facilities. Thanks.
