I have the boxed edition of Madeira for FSX. A little while ago I downloaded a patch to make it into V 1.2. I have since reinstalled Windows and FSX. I have just installed Madeira,but I can't find the update. My Aerosoft launcher says that my boxed version is up to date. I know I should have backed up the update before my hard drive was reformatted but I forgot about the update until I came to install the boxed product.
Is the update still available and if so where can I download it?

Does this happen if you use a default aircraft at this airport.
Just tried with the default Cessna and it was ok. Then closed FSX and tried with the Turbine Duke and it was ok repeated with the NGX and it too was ok. So it must have been a temporary glitch.

I have just reformatted my hard drive and am having problems at Weeze. This has happened with both PMDG's 737NGX and Real Air Turbine Duke. Am running FSX in full screen mode and have the following problems
1. Pressing the Alt key does not bring up the top menu.
2 Right clicking does not bring up the drop down change view menu.
3. I can't open the FSX ATC window.
This only occurs at this airport.
You help would be appreciated.

I have just reformatted my hard drive. Before hand I backed up my Aerosoft downloaded scenery. Unfortunately I didn't back up Weeze. How can I redownload Weeze? I have my original invoice and will of course be more than happy to provide that information.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Everything is now sorted. I had the right version of Aerosoft Launcher and the product was activated but I had missed that there was an update. Installed the update and the FSX building has now gone.

I have just installed Corfu X. On turning onto the apron and to the right hand of the main terminal(in front of what looks like scrub land) there is part of the FSX standard terminal building still present. I have checked your promo video and this building is not present. Can you please tell me how to remove it.

Hi I have just bought Weeze from the download shop and when downloading the FSX version and all I get is a file called"download php" which downloads instantly so it can't contain all the scenery and am unable to open the download. I have an order no but as this is an open forum I will not type it here. BTW at the same time I bought Corfu X which I downloaded successfully.Can you please help. I have also sent an email to Aerosoft' Can you please help

Take care to read the "How to purchase and install this Download-Version" Note at the buttom of the page, as it is different from other Aerosoft products.
Thanks for your reply. I see that it states "not in stock" on the purchase page? Is it OK to buy as "not in stock" for a download seems strange.

I opened a new thread as I had not had any reply on this thread. I would be grateful if you could advise me on what to do next. As you can see I have managed to use AES with the default 737 yet I can't manage to configure my add on aircraft. I have tried the suggestions in this thread and have failed. If you require more information please just ask.

I have given you feedback in my post dated 1st June 2011. For clarification I have tried all your fixes on that thread and have also given you feedback of other things I have tried.If that's not helpful please just tell me what else to do I have been polite and patient so am a little surprised that you locked the last thread. I just wish to get AES working and then purchase the credits.

Thank you for your support. Having now found the other pinned thread, I have loaded the default 737-800 at the active runway at Gib. I then press <CTRL>+<SHIFT>+<W> and I am linked to AES and can call the Follow me car, choose a gate, park at the gate, shut engines and put on the park brake. The marshal then tells me that chocks are in and I get the window for deboarding etc. So for the default 737 everything is fine and very impressive. I then changed aircraft to the Simcheck A300 and got the window to say that the aircraft was not configured. So I then started the AES config file. Unfortunately the file still had the red disconnect note at the top left corner.I then swapped to the PMDG MD11 and still had the the red disconnect note at the top left corner of the AES config file
I shut done FSX and then restarted FSX and again reloaded the default 737, once again I could call the follow me truck etc. Once parked at the gate and before changing planes I opened the AES config file and again had the red disconnect note in the top left corner.
So in summary I can get AES to work for the default 737 but not the simcheck A300 or the PMDG MD11. Am getting closer but I must be missing an obvious step when I try to configure add on aircraft.So I apologies in advance for that. Having seen AES in action am very impressed and keen to configure my add on planes. Once I have successfully done that I shall be buying lots of credits so that I can enjoy AES in the full. So I hope you can help me.

Hi everyone
Am new to AES and am trying to configure the Simcheck A300 at Aerosoft Gib. I am having exactly the same problems as divemaster08.I have checked all the zero credited airports as I want to get everything working before I buy any credits. Help would be appreciated as AES looks like a useful add on. Finally divemaster08 have you managed to solve the problem.

I have followed the debate concerning the complexity of the Airbus X with interest. I am keen on the so called complex add ons such as PMDG 747x MD11x and Jetstream. I also enjoy the complex engine management required to fly the Catalina with realastic engines. Yet I will be more than happy to buy this product. My reasons are as follows
1 The PMDG products are not fly by wire nor do they provide the complex flight protections provided under normal law (I know the MD11 has some protection but it is no way near the complexity of Airbus). It will be interesting to see how they manage when they start work on there proposed 777 and it's protection systems are not as complex as Airbus. I would think that programming a simulated completly realstic Airbus flight protection system must be very difficult and even if successful would put a very high load on the CPU resulting in very low frame rates etc
2 Once you decide not to model the complete flight protection system etc what do you leave out? What I do know is that you will always upset someone because you left out something they have read about.
3 Imagine you had faithfully modeled systems and the result was that the cockpit and external modeling was poor (required to keep acceptable frame rates) then most people I think would be disappointed
4 Why has there never been a complex Airbus fly by wire simulation for MSFS? Maybe because it's so difficult to do.
5 I mentioned the Catalina and the realastic engine option. In this case the plane is realativly simple(no glass cockpit etc) so the realastic engines have not been at the cost of a good external modelling or a great VC.
In conclussion I will buy this product happy in the knowledge that Mathijs and his team have carefully thought about the compromises they have had to make to bring this to market. They have also been very open about the product and have stoically taken all the "slings and arrows" that have been thrown at them.
Therefore am more than happy to make a few compromises and buy what looks like the best Airbus fly by wire simulation yet produced (and likely to be produced in the foreseeable future)

I have just installed Innsbruck and use Just Flight Traffic X and when I was taxying to the terminal a First Choice 757 landed. Not very exciting I know. Mind you that was the only AI traffic present. I had my traffic setting at about 35%

I have just landed on 25R (new runway) and there were cars crossing the runway and also the taxiway leading back into the main airport area. They acted as if they were driving on the roads that were there before the construction of the new runway. Is there a way that I can remove them.
