  1. Hi,

    please see the photo below.

    Web.jpg

As you can see some of the apron is raised above other parts as seen by the airport bus driving into the raised level.

Also, as may be seen from the posiiton of the aircraft, this is supposedly parking 2 on the ramp but places me inside the building and nowhere near to ramp position 2.

I have re-installed this scenery after checking the manual and found nothing that covers what may be wrong.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,

just tried to start my first flight from Vilnius airport but ran into the problem that my aircraft is never parked at any gate. When choosing a gate from the FSX menu, the aircraft is always parked either inside the terminal building or somewhere away from the ramp.

This in effect means that AES will not start as it probably doesn't recognise any parking area I end up on.

Is there a problem with the afcad or is there an updated afcad I can use?

    Any ideas would be welcome.

    Thanks

  3. I just checked my PMDG 737NGX at the new Friedrichshafen airport and everything looked just fine. On the -800 with winglets, I have a height of 1.5 for the front pit and 1.85 for the rear.

    Here's how it looks.

    post-17951-0-83659300-1329082824_thumb.j

Just increased the baggage door heights both front and aft without any success. Still no baggage carts.

  4. Hi,

I have recently purchased a new pc to run fsx and attachements.software etc.

However, having installed AES along with the PMDG737NGX into FSX, I cannot get the baggae carts to appear near to or at the aircraft with the latest version of 2.2.

I have set up the aircraft using the help facility and the front and rear door stairs, gallet truck and tow truck all appear and do their job but not no baggage carts.

Can you advise if I have maybe done something wrong please?

I have upgraded to a pentium I7 quad core processor with 8gb memro and 560 Nvideoa graphic card and FSX runs extremely well if this helps.

    Thanks

  5. Oliver,

I had downloaded a "better" afcad from the same site as the scenery but that was what was cauign the problem.

After uninstalling EGKK and removing the additional afcad, everything seems to work now although I will know better after a few flights.

    Thanks for your quick responses.

  6. Hi,

I recently changed back to FS9 from FSX and have been organising my addons including IFly B737 and AES.

I'm using the above alongside FS2crew and FSInn but have a problem in that when the tug starts pushing the a/c back, it doesn't stop. The aircraft just keeps pushing back, across the runway, across the grass, through fences.....

Any idea what's wrong or how I can stop this please?

    Thanks

  7. Hi,

I tried the EDDF-LOWW route this morning and inserted "EDDF/LOWW" into INIT A page but I do not have the flight plan showing in the FCDU.

Do we have to type the full flight plan in or should it load when I enter the above airport ICAO's?

The flight plan is definately there aloingside all other flight plans.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Willie

  8. Good morning.

First of all this is not a complaint but rather a request for information.

Since the Airbus was released I have tried to use the aircraft due to it's stunningly visual graphics as they are the best I have seen in any VC.

Can you please advise on the use of SID/STAR's database, which I believe are not in use on this aircraft.

If this is the case, is there a way to program a SID/STAR into a flight plan and also, what is the reason to download the latest Navigraph database if the aircrfat only follows the FSX flightplan without any SID/STAR's.

I was under the assumption that the aircraft would follow the fSX flight plan but be capable of including a SID/STAR from the Navigraph database.

Otherwise, I could sit in and look at the VC all day as it looks incredible.

    Thanks

  9. Guys,

the bird looks absolutely astonishing in detail. However, before I am tempted to purchase can I ask one question.

The ND display doesn't show much detail in any screenshots. Can you advise if this is the same level of detial as that displayed on the basic FSX Airbus?

Using the FSX Airbus display would be amjaor step back as the graphics are quite chunky and the detail abysmal.

    Cheers

  10. Well, just returned from Larnaca (20 years) again!

This was the first visit through the new terminal building and I can only say what a fantastic change - both inside and out.

There is plenty opportunity for viewing landing/departing aircraft together with the expansive number of shops, etc. Absolutely brilliant.

Additionally, when landing, our bags were on the conveyer belt before we got to it, not like the old building where you could wait in excess of an hour for your baggage.

Now cannot wait for this to be released.

    Thanks

  11. Oliver,

I don't normally give credit regarding addon software I purchase for FSX as I expect all sceneries, aircraft, etc to work well when installed in FSX, although that's not always the case.

However, before I decided to add AES to my ever growing addons for FSX, I read a review on one of the forums. This kind of put me off a bit as it ended with the summary of "all you really get is a follow me car" as everything else is in FSX. What a load of ****

This piece of software is one of the most comprehensive and important addons I have ever used for FSX. It is absolutely phenomenal. It adds a whole new realism at the gate so to speak.

No matter what additional airports are used in AES in the future, I can only confirm, that wherever I fly, I will certainly require to have AES at the deaprture/arrival airport.

I won't put any requests for future airports as there is more than enough requests already. No matter what, it will certainly make that airport more realistic.

Keep up the execellent work and thanks again for adding more realism to FSX.

  12. When you reinstall AES you only need to click on the airports in green, so that the OFF check to FSX and the airports are back in AES. The activations will be still there.

    Oliver,

I have clicked each airport to FSX and that was accepted. But when I load the airport, there is no AES and I don't get the screen allowing me to request deboarding, fuel etc.

    any suggestions.

    Thanks

    Willie

  13. Having had to carry out a full re-install of FSX, I have installed AES 2.05. While it shows my airports as being active in FSX, I cannot get AES to work.

Can you please advise if I should be doing something else?

I have made sure that all installed airports have FSX next to them in the activation of airports section. Additionally, I cannot even purchase the credits to re-install these airports as they are shown as being active in FSX.

    Thanks

  14. Hi,

thought I'd throw my tuppence worth in. No matter the cost, I will definately purchase any airfield in Cyprus for FSX.

Wife was brought up in Cyprus and we have been there at least once or twice every year for last 18 years. Apart from this year, every landing was from over the bay at Larnaca. Seen quite a bit of change at this airport over the years but the people remain fantastic and we have many friends there.

Can't wait to get back to see the new terminal building!

    Keep up the excellent work.
