CTD at replay

Hello all,

Whenever i finish a flight and try to replay to see the landing, fsx crashes to desktop and restarts. Any reason for that? is there an addon that might affect this (e.g. ASN or REX E +OS)?

Thank you

There's a lot more information you need to provide before this can even be moved to the correct forum.

  1. Start with the default flight (the ultralight at Friday Harbor, Washington), finish to a landing and then try the replay. Does that work? If not, you have an FSX problem and a re-install is probably your only fix. If it works, go to step 2.
  2. Use a default aircraft at a default airport, take off and land, then try the replay. Does that work? If not, you still have an FSX problem and a re-install is needed. If it works, go to step 3.
  3. Use a default aircraft at an add-on airport. Does that work? If not, try another airport. If that crashes, keep trying airports to find any add-ons that work. If you find some that work and some that don't, open a new thread in the Aerosoft Scenery forum here if it's an Aerosoft scenery or sceneries.
  4. If all your add-on airports work with a default aircraft, then use an Aerosoft add-on aircraft at a default airport. Does that work? If that crashes, try another Aerosoft add-on aircraft. If that crashes, keep trying aircraft to find ones that work and those that don't. Open a new thread in the relevant Aerosoft aircraft forum here.

Hopefully, you see the pattern. Start with default and introduce one new element at a time until you find those that crash the sim. The other pattern is to open a new thread in the correct Aerosoft forum once you know if it's an Aerosoft aircraft or scenery add-on that's the problem. If it's not a scenery or aircraft sold by Aerosoft, try a general forum like Avsim.

Good luck with your troubleshooting. ^_^

Hello Herman,

Tried to replay many landings as suggested with a combination of default/addons aircraft/sceneries, it crashed when i tried it with the aerosoft a320/321, here is the error report

It seems something related to d3d9.dll file, i appreciate if you can assist in this one.

Edit: deleted d3d9.dll, . 4 replays with aerosoft a320 worked as they should. seems fixed.

Thank you,
