micas1uk 0
Hello, my fellow airsimers, as Im waiting for quite a long time of the release of scenery Lisbon, I have come across something else in my FS9. After going trough a couple of forums I have realised that many persons are asking about it..... As anyone know how to get AI traffic flying a especific Approach leg created by you????? I'll explain: Wonderfull Madeira Scenery by PTSim (Aerosoft) - Beautifull scenery - Wonderfull Approach -AI Traffic.... Boring line up 9nm way with rwy 5 instead of circle to land, like its done in real life, is there anyway of getting the AI Circling to Land, I know its possible with the BGL Compiler that can be obtained from Microsoft, but for ME, that and chinese its the same thing........... Any help would be aprecciated.............. Thanks
Sasa 921
Hi! That might be possible with the AI Traffic SDK (although I'm not even sure about that), but the BGLCompiler is for something totally different (scenery). Bests, Sascha
Holger_Sandmann 0
Hi there, I believe what you are looking for are the "active approaches" developed by Jim Vile. See, for example his Innsbruck - http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...&DLID=64862 - and Kai Tak - http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...&DLID=84714 (there are more if you search for his name at AVSIM). I don't think he published a tutorial on that but there's plenty of detailed posts about the method in the PAI forums: http://www.projectai.com/discuss/ Good luck! Cheers, Holger
