Hello:

Thanks for the new 1.10 update! Lots of things fixed and are working great. I did notice a minor issue in P3DV2 where the afterburner effect is bleeding out of the rear fuselage.

Are you using P3d v2.4, or an earlier version? LM changed the way effects are scaled with 2.4 so things like lights and afterburner effects are rendered about half size. The F14 patch increased the size of the burner effects to compensate so if you are using an earler version of P3d you will get that problem.

Yes, I am on P3D version 2.2 (tweaked and runs great) and will do a fresh install of 2.4 (or greater) when the Superbug & Tacpack are made availble for P3DV2.

In the mean time, the afterburner effects looked good in F14X V 1.00, could I just copy those afterburner from 1.00 into 1.10 or is it modeled into the aircraft?

Ok, I got the after-burner effects looking a bit better in P3DV2.2 by copying the effects:

fx_Aerosoft_F14_Burner_Cone.fx
fx_Aerosoft_F14_Burner_Flame0.fx
fx_Aerosoft_F14_Burner_Flame1.fx

from a backup of F14X V 1.00 into the effects folder after updating to F14X V 1.10
