Why are topics closed or set to 'answered'

Somebody asked me about this today.

  • Topics are closed when we feel all that can be said about it has been said. Often it involves people asking for certain changes that we can't do or are not planning to do. Keep in mind this is a medium priced project and we simply need to limit what we do. The average sales price of the A318/A319 is 27 Euro at this moment. We have no intention to make the product any more expansive to include more options. Closing the topic prevents these issues to extrapolate into long discussions about things that simply will never happen.
  • Topics are set to answered when the original question is replied to or if we feel the replies answer the questions. We use these tags to identify issues that have not been looked at and therefor is a very good idea not to add your issue to another topic unless it is really the same issue. If it is not and the answer tag is set it can be missed.
