Can it be THAT easy to add the cutter to any scenery?

yes... it can... see here the three simple steps;

Our Manhattan scenery. Looks great but it would look better with a Coast Guard cutter on patrol.

So we sail or slew the ship in the location we want to see the static model, remember you can actually sail as we provide it also as an aircraft model (but note Fs is not great in modeling ship behavior).

Now we open the Shipyard tool and add the information needed. All very simple.

A restart of FS is needed to see the new generated object. But less then one minute from the top of this message Manhattan will look like this;
