pcubine 15
On page 64 of the PFPX manual under Flight Plan (OFP) it says "Wind information Include detailed waypoint wind information". Is this wind information the direction/speed at the time the flight plan was created or is it the predicted direction/speed at the time of arrivail at the waypoint which could be 12-16 hours after the flight plan was created on a long flight? pcubine 15
Does anyone know or are you just making your flight plans on blind faith? Michael Cubine
becas 53
In the OFP, you have a thing called WX Prognosis or something like that. It indicates the WX observations and forecasts. IRL, the winds you see in the OFP are both an observation and a forecat. As for PFPX, it is only one of them. It will use the observation one. The winds usually will not change that much and the aim of Pfpx is not professional use so a wind observation input is good. If I am worng, correct me!
