david_wi 13
Hi Simmers I have a plane that I will like to set the front view zoom,in the VC to 1.25 or so. Now in 2D cockpit it is simple and can be changed in the Panel.cfg file. But for virtual cockpit there is no front view zoom,so how do I define it. In the sim itself I can change the VC zoom-but it will go back to it's default when it is closed. Can someone give me an advise. :?: Thanks David
PhilC 0
David, Look for this section in the aircraft.cfg. I believe it will help you get it set right. You may have to experiment a little. [Views] eyepoint=-4.3, -0.86, 2.62 longitudinal, Lateral, Vertical (feet) The first number should adjust your distance from the panel.
marick626 0
or download F1view http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library and scroll threw the VC using the shift+mouse wheel for up and down movement, ctrl+mouse wheel for right or left moevemtn and mouse wheel for forward and back movement. Using f1, you can set a view point and change views , and the view point in the VC will stay the same unless you hit space bar, change the aircraft or reset fs. Itsa much less complicated process than editign the cfg.
