shiFt 0
Hi! You have made a fantastic rendition of the twotter, I love it! There seem to be a inconsistency between the fuel flow listed in Vol. 4 and the fuel flow displayed on the gauges in the aircraft. The gauges show 100PPH less than the charts. For example: At 10 000ft with clear skies weather theme selected and economy cruise setting (40 psi/75 Np) the fuel flow should be 280PPH but the gauges are only showing 180PPH. I get the same inconsistency at other power settings. Is this a bug or is it due to FSX limitations?
Finn 873
Fuel consumption is not very well simulated in FSX. You can accurate consumption at higher altitudes, but then it will be off at lower altitudes and vice versa. We will look into it though. jspringe 0
Fuel flow seems a little bit under. I was at 14,500 with 75% (1650) and 38psi using 200PPH per engine. The table suggests I should have been using 260 to 280. Jason
jspringe 0
Add... But my IAS was also 10kts slower than the table, so maybe more like 230 - 260 would have been more correct.
jspringe 0
Another test flight: GW: 12,000 lbs Altitude: 13,500 Torque:35 RPM: 75% (1650) Actual: IAS: 110 FF: 170 PPH per engine Expected: IAS 121 FF 260 PPH per engine So a little slow and a little under on the fuel consumption. Hope this helps! Jason
