philwhite 29
I am thinking of updating some of my pc hardware to something more up to date. I currently have an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 running at 3.5ghz and I am thinking of getting an Intel Core i5 3570k and a mid range Z77 motherboard. I will be able to use my existing RAM so will this be a worthy upgrade for FSX.
Kosta 9
Just to clarify first: budget? 3570K is a worthwhile CPU yes, Z77 is good, Asus P8Z77 Pro, not lower, and what is your GPU? cgentil 163
Final take: i5 3570K P8Z77-V Pro or Deluxe Ripjaws G.Skill 8 GB RAM EVGA GTX660 or ASUS GTX 670 (differences: http://www.hwcompare...eforce-gtx-670/) XFX 650W, otherwise 750W. Will be fine this config

philwhite 29
Went and collected my new hardware from Scan this afternoon and will be fitting it ASAP. I intend to try it with no overclock initially just to see how it performs in comparrison with my current hardware.
