Try it, it's way more realistic than you're trying to make it look. Also, it adds to the cockpit environment even if it's not *that* accurate. PMDG, like most "we're the best" developers spits out excuses for not doing it, yet other developers can make them work, i wonder why... Start up FSX in a "clear skies" scenario, fire up your WXR and point it like 2ยบ up then change the weather theme to "Major Thunderstorm" and see what happens. Then go fly and look around. You'll be surprised. Simply nonsense what you're wrting! I have indeed addons with a so called "Weather Radar". And it is definitely nonsense.. Simply learn what a real one does, how weather is "simulated" in FSX and you'll understand that it makes no sense at all in FSX. ;-) And the ones, spending their time on developing something looking like WXR just waste their time for a fake.
