Tobus 161
Maybe I've missed something, but according to the manual, the prop pitch switch can be: down: segel (feathered) middle: auto (use selected rpm) But the switch also has an "up" setting in FSX. So what does that do?
J.Schweigler 203
This inops the gauge just like the cirquit breaker.
Tobus 161
Ok, so setting the switch to "up" can effectively be used as a start- and landing switch, where for a short time full fine pitch is needed, correct?
J.Schweigler 203
The engine and propeller will thank you, if you'll not do it ;-)
Tobus 161
Naturally ! Normal MO would be to only use auto + propsetting @ max, or Segel when soaring AFTER shutting down the engine.
