aviateur22 3 Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 hello again to all after click on the cold and dark button of the MCDU the cockpit becomes black.. normal batteries 1and 2 charge show 27v, i follow the step bu step procedure start the APU for pneumatic and Air conditioning and electrical On the Elec Ecam Page , the APU is connected to the electrical system, but afetr 15 minutes i realise that my batteries was down to 5v do somoene know how to avaoid batteries discharge like this? thks a lot for your help brgds Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Aprilia 4 Ever 35 Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 my battery is discharging even though everything is off...is was parked at eddk and then I was eating for an hour and I come back and then my batteries where also at 5V....whats wrong?! When your up and running with apu running try switching off the apu gen. My bats rocketed back to 28V and were invincible after that. Maverickmatze 21 Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 Hey Finn, the problem is that when the APU Generator is switched on (no light) the batteries loose power. If I turn off the APU GEN (off-light is on) the batteries are charged. I haven't installed the newest update yet, but I don't think this is fixed till now... DToogood 3 Posted September 8, 2010 Share Posted September 8, 2010 Hey Maverick, One thing i just noticed. Are you using a saved flight for the airbus? I was using a saved flight with the airbus. But I do not load any other saved flight before. I loaded first the Cessna and thereafter changed the aircraft. But no effect - the APU GEN seems to work only when deactivated. Here is what I do: 1) Start FSX 2) Setup for FreeFlight with Cessna 3) Start FreeFlight 4) Load AirbusX 5) Go to ´cold and dark´ Is this a problem that's beeing worked on or am I doing something wrong?
