dommel 0
How it is possible to remove all static aircraft from German Airports 1 bundle (download version)because i already have an AI traffic program and they are hitting my frame rate?
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Dommel, You can check the scenery folder for any files with the word stat in them and rename them like this example: EDDM-FS9-2-stat.bgl to EDDM-FS9-2-stat.bgl.passive The .passive extension will prevent them from being load. bogbrain 0
Well I tried that and although all the files now are "passive" the static aircraft are still there!!
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello James, Try removing the files to a safe location out of FS9 and then check.
alehead 126
Is it possible that those who are still having problems with statics still being present after renaming have Windows set up so as not to show the file extensions? That would cause a file rename to appear before the .bgl, and so would continue to be loaded by FS on start... Just a thought... It is one of the most dangerous standard settings in Windows, and really should have been done away with by MS after the ILOVEYOU Blaster worm... I still get hits on my firewall from infected PCs... schattenjeager 0
I still use German airports for MSFS2002, removed all files with stat or static in them, but still get static aircraft parked at my airports. Seems to be a trick there, what should I do?
