  1. 1. Would you buy this if Aerosoft made an addon for it?

Like I said, they may not be able to make an addon for it because it's a private airport, but there are also some beautiful public airports in the NC mountains. Jackson County Airport is a public airport that's also on top of a mountain. I live in NC, so these places are only a few hours drive away from me.

I'm sure it would be nearly impossible to get what would be required to make this scenery, but if it could be done it would be incredible scenery. I'd love a VFR Smokey Mountain scenery package with airports. It truly is beautiful country.

That's a great idea! I wish Aerosoft would make something like that. Maybe called "VFR Appalachia" or something. If anybody can do it, Aerosoft can.

A while back, before I was a member of this forum, I emailed Aerosoft suggesting this airport as a scenery addon. I don't remember exactly what their reply was, but they didn't do it. I just wanted to see what the rest of you thought of it. It's an airport in the mountains of North Carolina called Mountain Air (2NC0). The runway is on top of a mountain and has steep drop offs at each end. The runway also slopes, so runway 14 is preferred for takeoff, and 32 for landing. The airport is part of a housing development, and is privately owned, so you may not be able to make an addon scenery for it.

Here are some links to pictures and info:

We are doing a project similar to that in Andras Field. More info on this soon. We will not do this airport, the market will just not be able to pay for the development costs. Doing a poll on that simply will not change that.

Thanks for replying, Mathijs. I understand that. I just wanted to see what other people thought of it.
