Aerosoft Brussels X graphic problems (Solved)

Hi,

I just bought Brussels Airport X for FSX.

It really looks stunning.

But I do have some problems with it.

* For some reason some of my Fruitstands AI planes are not visible anymore (both A319 and A333).

They were visible with the default Brussels Airport.

* I cannot stop the busses and cars to move on the airport (animations in FSX is set to 0)

* Transparancy looks weird under some viewing angles.

See pictures below..

I have FSX SP2 with my traffic X 5.2 (with FS2004 AI planes cause there nicer)

Hello FooFighters,

For the AI problem, please turn off "Aircraft cast shadows on the ground" in the display menu.

The issue with the transparency from certain angles has been mentioned to the developer who replied that there was unfortunately no fix for it.

The animations wont be affected by FSX as these are part of the scenery.

Thanks Shaun ;)

Does every scenery from Mega Airport series has this transparant problem.

I thinks it's a bit strange to release a scenery with these kind of problems.

Small update !

I was searching on the net about these transparancy problems.

I read somewhere that MS changed the alpha color from white to black.

When you install the airport. The installer asks to install SP1 or Accelaration version.

Because I do not have accelaration I choose SP1. (but accelaration is with SP2)

I now did the install again, but with options accelaration.

Now everything looks great !

So please change the following in the install and files

* Change accelaration term in SP2

* Please change the zip file names of the downloads.. they are confusing which is for FS9 or FSX

A few setup routines of airports are over and over funny. When installing these airports you've got the choice between "FSX SP1" and "FSX Acceleration". What's with FSX users which have only installed SP2 without Acceleration. Should they choose "FSX SP1" or "Acceleration"?

For the future - a hint for "SP2-only" users would be great, or perhaps it is possible to include an option for selecting "SP2-only".

Thanks,

Patric

Hello FooFighters,

I believe its the same with Mega Airport Heathrow.

The installers were done before the general release of FSX SP2 to the public, the only ones who had SP" at the

time were those with Acceleration hence it asks for Acceleration and not SP2.
