Hello,

I just bought and installed the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke. I also downloaded and installed the configuration tool. However, when I start FSX, the activated Profile (default) is not initialized. The Yoke itself is recognized by FSX (I can assign buttons to functions) but the toggle switches are not working. I also do not have the Honeycomb sub-menu in the Add-On menu. Any idea, how to get the thing working? (It works perfect with P3D). Thanks

Please uninstall it an try this one :

Important : Execute the setup as administrator.

Thank you for your answer. However, I cannot uninstall the current installation. When I try, I get the following message: ERROR: missing uninstall log file.

Can I uninstall it manually? Any idea what files I have to delete?

Can I just install the new version on top of the old installation?

I did reinstall it from your link. What I can see, the Honeycomb folder in the FSX installation folder was updated. But unfortunately nothing changed, the Alpha Yoke is just not binding/initializing when I start the FSX-Application.

If you have any other suggestion what I can try, please let me know. As said before, everything works fine within P3D v4 using the configurator for P3Dv4.

I tried all options to start the configurator: from the Icon on the desktop, from the start menue and directly executing the .exe file located in the Honeycomb folder within the FSX-Installation folder. The configurator starts in all cases, I can select the device and then the profile Yoke - default.

G:\FSX02_FSX-INSTALLATION/fsx.exe

When I installed the configurator, the installer found the correct path, but when starting teh FSX application, the Alpha is not binding or initializing.

Unfortunately I am not getting the Alpha Yoke configurator connected to my FSX-Installation (no entry in the ADD-ON menue). Are there any more ideas what I can try? Fortunately it works with my P3D v4 installation, so I will keep flying using P3D. Thanks for the answers so far.
