X-Plane 12 Linux Navdata installation

Recommended Posts

Greetings, I just paid for a navdata Pro single dataset, see below. I'm on Linux / X-Plane 12

It took me a while to figure this out, so I am putting it here in case anyone else has a problem installing this on Linux.

I downloaded and installed Aerosoft One and logged in with the credentials for the Aerosoft store.

Then I downloaded a NAVDATAPRO_WINDOWS.exe file (no Linux file available) which I am running with WINE, and I set the prefix to Windows 10 with winetricks.

I logged in with the Serial number which I found in Aerosoft One.

Then I had to set the paths (see image 3) where it says "Change Paths". Afterwards I clicked on the download arrow, and thankfully it seems to have installed.

Have a great day. You're welcome.

Thank you

Raffles
