XP12.08 Beta 2 ist gerade erschienen

Ich lade mir gerade die neue Beta 2 von XP12.08 runter. Offiziell gibt es noch keine Release Notes aber ein paar Infos dazu auf X-Plane.org:

● XPD-14729 - Bug report “12.0.8-beta-1: Thousands of new log warnings” (Fixed flood of iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile in log.)

● XPD-14736 - 2D panel rendering broken with panel/always_render art control

● XPD-14735 - Dataref Read/Write Ability Gone

● XPD-14692 - Bug report “Rain on windshield visible in “forward with nothing” view and disabled windshield effects

● XPD-14673 - Bug report “Hot Start CL650 crashes on startup due to a previously writable X-Plane dataref having been changed to read-only

● XPD-14670 - XPD-14740 - Crash due to broken navdata not being handled correctly

● XPD-14716 - FMOD event velocity is apparently set the same as the vehicle velocity (FMOD events in the past did not take rotational velocities into consideration but now they do!)

● XPD-14717 - Aircraft Class in Analytics Needs to be Untranslated (Aircraft categories can be fetched translated or untranslated; analytics uses untranslated; everything else is translated (as was in 12.07) even   though this isn't ideal - to avoid opening a can of worms in the joystick prefs)

● XPD-14718 - Missing OBJs of new fire extinguishers

● XPD-14670 - (Icing effect doesn't properly take thermal sources into account) Fixes the icing effect not looking properly with heated rain surfaces

● XPD-14689 - Window icing glows in the dark, now fixed

● XPD-14721 - New Gateway/Global airports recut! Cut from November 1st 2023 data

 

● Fix fuel temperature NaN on airplanes that don't have wings

This fixes the NaN crash on the NHadrian planes that only use misc wings and no wings 1-4.b

● “What’s new in 12.0.8” video popup!

● OpenXR Frustum Junk Data

● FIX: VR Frustum and Interaxial are no longer junk for the first few frames if the HMD isn't ready to render just yet.

● Analytics fixes

● Fixes to analytics to make it more robust and use internal file ops utilities.

Verstehe ich den Punkt richtig?

Sind jetzt die Gateway Airport auf dem vom Stand 1.11 aktualisiert.

Das hast Du richtig übersetzt, so sollte es sein.

Somit könnte man alle älteren Airport-Packages vom Gateway wieder in den eigenen CustumSceneries löschen... - nur leider weiß das Gateway (noch) nichts davon. Da sind auch Gateway Einträge von Mai noch als "Not yet released" gekennzeichnet. Ich wäre also bis auf weiteres vorsichtig und würde abwarten bis diese Info auch auf dem Gateway nachvollzogen werden kann.

Ich habe mir heute ein paar Flughäfen angeschaut. Ja, die sind jetzt aktualisiert. Wahrscheinlich wird die Version 12.0.8 erst im Gateway angezeigt, wenn es sich um die Release Version handelt.
