FSFK MSFS - Building Nav Database (Network Setup)

Featured Replies

Hi,

It has been such a long time since I have had to rebuild the NAV database for FSFK, are there any instructions available on how to run the utility to create the database for MSFS 2020.  I have been using an old version of my database from a prior sim, but would like to try to get things better synced with MSFS as I am pretty much only flying with it these days.

Thanks,

Bryan

I did, but I didn't see anything that addressed my question.  Maybe I am just not seeing it?

Did you install the beta version 3.6 on top of your existing 3.5.2?

As Thomas nowhere mentioned the need to build the navdatabase, maybe this is the answer to your "problem": there is maybe no need to build a database?

The key is that I am running FSFK over a networked set up (ie: FSFK does not reside on my MSFS PC).  It currently is running using WideFS, but pointing to my old FSX nav database files.  So, I need to run the database utility program to generate the MSFS nav database files on the MSFS computer.  I probably just need to know the folder that I need to specify in the database utility.
