Excuse me! Wanted to ask does pfpx come with a weather satellite to help avoid thunderstorms when planning flight plans. 

There are some 3rd party weather informations and sat imgages available.

Also the tool can load the weather data from active sky for example.

Yes but cant seem see the rain on the pfpx tool like other flight planning tools. I tried to add active sky to pfpx but it only shows jet stream wind direction terrain. But no rain info or hurricane info on the pfpx map.

Guess the features I’m looking for aren’t there thanks anyway for the help.

PFPX uses two files created by Active Sky, "current_wx_snapshot.txt" and "wx_station_list.txt".  Presume you have pointed PFPX to the folder where ASN keeps these files.

However, PFPX does not convert this information into anything you can "see" in the World Map. It does include a text of the weather for airports included in a flight plan.
