TCA Quadrant | Reversers Intermittent

Hello.. having a strange issue with TCA Airbus quadrant & sidestick.  Have latest version of A330 installed & quadrant only enabled in configurator.  Everything appears to be working correctly however once I enable VR the thrust reverse selection becomes intermittent but really fails to work most of the time.  Very strange im not sure why VR is having an effect on this - it does work consistently outside of VR.  The physical throttles are moving the throttles in the sim all the way to idle.  I notice that when reverse fails to engage, the throttle position indicators on the EPR display move down below the normal IDLE position.  Have no idea why this is happening only in VR so just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this issue.
