Guy Ludwig 0
Hi, Just got, as a gift, the X Plane 11 flight simulator (hard copy - DVD's) and before installation I want to buy a SAITEK SAITEK LOGITECH G PRO FLIGHT YOKE SYSTEM. My computer is an iMac 27". Is it better to install first X Plane 11 or first the yoke ? I didn't proceed until now. Thanks for your advices ; this tool is a an old dream (I spent 36 years in the airline industry) and I want to use it correctly. P.S. : Additionally, I never had a flight simulator and this one seems to be a reference. Is there a training possibility on it ?
Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1609 Posted July 2, 2020 Administrator Share Posted July 2, 2020 Hello ... welcome here with X-Plane 11.. best way is to first install the simulator X-Plane 11. Then connect the yoke System with the USB to your computer. Then configure your Yoke with the X-Plane 11 Menu - Settings - Joystick. Here you find some instructions for that: https://www.x-plane.com/manuals/desktop/#configuringflightcontrols Most times you don't need an extra driver for the Yoke/Joystick.
