ScottM 21
Hello All! I am having a nightmare with PFPX this morning. So, new install, v 2.03. Nothing has been changed yet. The first thing I get, on startup is this error; "could not load world map". I click ok and try to add an aircraft and I get the following error: "Can't add/modify aircraft. No aircraft types available" however when I go into C:\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\AircraftTypes there is a full list of aircraft. I've uninstalled twice, changed the install location (from HDD to SSD), done the c++ reinstall, and still it's not working. So as it stands I am unable to use PFPX at all. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
srcooke 422
Where did you download v2.03 from ? What is your installation path.
ScottM 21
From flightsim soft directly. Just installed in c/program files x86
srcooke 422
Uninstall via windows program manager. Make sure no desktop shortcut remains. Install as admin outside of C:\Program Files (x86), eg C:\PFPX
ScottM 21
Initially it was installed outside of program files, it was still giving me the same issue. It's only installed there now as I let it follow the default path to see if that would change anything.
srcooke 422
If I remove the map then I can get the error you report. Can you post snapshot showing the content of the install folder. Edit: this also then results in the aircraft error.
