privettl 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Share Posted September 22, 2007 I recently upgraded to windows vista, i can run fs2004 on it fine. but when i install the AES pack and go to open it, it asks me to reinstall. when im playing and pres Ctrl + Shift + W, it come up with a detact error. Vista-related issues are normally connected to problems with Vista's built-in security features. Make sure that the installer is run with Administrator privileges and that the AES program itself is run in the same way. It also helps to adjust the security settings for the FS9 folder (incl. subfolders) so as to allow programs to both Read and Write.
