Ole Dantoft 0
Hi all, I'm a long time sim'er but I have never updated AIRAC data before - that was until yesterday, where I bought a single NavDataPro update (1706). I have read the manual and think I've followed it to a "T" and updating of X-Plane 10 and -11 went well, as did updating PMDG B737NGX in P3D, but the Aerosoft Airbuses won't update in neither FSX nor P3D and now I'm left with the default 1511-cycle in A318/319 in FSX, but NO navdatabase in A320/321 in FSX and no navdatabase in A318/319/320/321 in P3D. According to the NavDataPro GUI everything went ok and was successfull! I'm running FSX:Steam Edition and P3D v.3.4. Any help/suggestions are very welcome! Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted May 31, 2017 Aerosoft Share Posted May 31, 2017 Are you sure you have NavDataPro set as the source and not Navigraph?
Ole Dantoft 0
I'm not sure I know what you mean by that Mathijs? Where would I make that choice? I don't own any Navigraph products. Ole
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted May 31, 2017 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 31, 2017 You can use the Airbus Configurator that came with your buses to check for the configuration.
Ole Dantoft 0
Ahhhh .. yes I remember about that setting now - I bought these quite some time ago and have never been in there since. Unfortunately they are all at their default: Navdatapro :-( I guess I'm gonna have to uninstall/reinstall one of them, to see if I can at least get it back to the default, outdated navdata? Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted June 1, 2017 Aerosoft Share Posted June 1, 2017 That's a good plan, but you will have to make sure that you manually delete the aircraft folders after the de-install. That one never removes files that it did not install or that have been updated!
Ole Dantoft 0
Thanks for that tip, Mathijs! I'll investigate further during this weekend. Ole
